Aerial Screw

This is not a helicopter, but an experiment with an aerial "screw.".

Leonardo wants to prove that air acts like a fluid and can be compressed. As the screw rotates, it should then twist into the air, lifting the machine.
Leonardo was probably well aware of the maple seed that “goes into a spin” when it falls through the air because of its geometric shape.
